HERO 1250
ISR / Kamikaze
The HERO 1250 is a long-range loitering munition developed by Uvision. As one of the largest systems in the HERO family, it can remain in the target area before engagement and allows the operator to assess the situation, abort the mission or re-engage when conditions change. This gives the system a role that combines reconnaissance and strike functions within a single platform.
According to the Plarok dataset, the HERO 1250 has an approximate range of 200 kilometres, an endurance of up to 14 hours, a maximum takeoff weight of 155 kilograms and a 50-kilogram warhead capacity. Speed, altitude and dimensional data have not been confirmed in the current sources and are therefore marked as TBC in the database.
The HERO 1250 is not limited to a direct attack role. Its EO/IR payload can support observation and target assessment, while SIGINT and COMJAM payloads can be used for signals intelligence and communications-jamming missions. Its anti- radiation capability also allows it to engage emitting sources such as air-defence radars. With real-time data links, mission abort and re-engagement functions, the system is designed as a multi-role long-range platform that keeps the operator involved in critical decisions.
